Rok Hotel’s presence will help to strengthen downtown Kingston

The Kingston and St. Andrew Municipal Corporation (KSAMC) has invited the recently built ROK Hotel in midtown Kingston as a lift to the revitalization and redevelopment of the bustling business locale.

The office, situated at the intersection of Ocean Boulevard and King Street is planned to open on July 19.

“We accept that this is a significant positive development chasing an objective city and a travel industry city. It’s likewise a significant stage in making life in the midtown of the city,” expressed Mayor of Kingston, Senator Councilor Delroy Williams.

He was tending to the month-to-month meeting of the KSAMC at the element’s Church Street workplaces in midtown Kingston on Tuesday (July 12).

City chairman Williams said that the district keeps on chasing after roads to work out midtown Kingston, and invited the players, who have been putting resources into the redevelopment of the area.

“We need to keep on working at settling [the] challenges, with the goal that it is simpler for financial backers to make the venture downtown,” Mayor Williams noted.

“The way that an ever-increasing number of private people are putting resources into… the midtown space, shares with us that something is occurring, and individuals are visioning and seeing,” he added.
