KingTaz, given name Kemar Russell, is a Jamaican native and reggae musician. He hales from Ocho Rios Saint Ann in a district called Exchange. He is well-known in his community and loved by most if not all.
He has a jovial personality that attracts a lot of people who then stick around when they hear his songs. He is truly an act to follow.
He loves music like no other, always singing around his community and being the center of attention as people watch on in amusement as they listen to the catalog of songs he sings.
He is very versatile often dabbling in the Dancehall genre but ultimately his passion is for Reggae. He is a singer at heart and is often referred to as a music box. He makes it look easy with the number of songs he is able to sing on the spot and oftentimes creates new ones.
When he is not working he is in the studio recording songs. He has a lot of songs yet to be released and a lot more to be recorded. He is also a songwriter, he writes for various genres from Dancehall/Reggae to even RnB and Pop.
It’s been a while since I’ve seen talent like this, he reminds me of Chronixx and I know he will do big things in the near future. I look forward to the music he will put out and the legacy he will leave in the industry.
